What we did

Halla is an AI-powered SaaS platform that helps enterprise grocery retailers personalize the shopping experience for their customers. By analyzing behavioral and preference data, Halla's technology enables grocers to surface the right products to the right shoppers — increasing basket size, reducing churn, and driving meaningful revenue growth for some of the largest retailers in the world.

I co-founded Halla in 2016 and spent nearly a decade building it from a three-person idea into a company with a roster of enterprise clients across the United States. Along the way we raised $10M from top-tier venture capital firms, navigated two M&A transactions, and closed six-figure annual contracts with major grocers.

In 2023, my co-founders and I were named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, recognizing Halla's impact on the food technology industry.

In 2025, Halla was acquired by Instacart. I led the transaction and remained through the full transition period before departing to pursue my next chapter.
